You're Invited: Outpost Black Tie Dinner

Need to thank you

First and foremost thank you to all the supporters of Outpost — earlier this week we hit 1,000 weekly readers, a big milestone for me.

To celebrate (not really, this has been a year in the making) we are hosting a Black Tie Dinner at the Explorers Club in partnership with Blade & Bow.

Off script for a moment: The Explorers Club is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. Its membership consists of folks like Theodore Roosevelt and Neil Armstrong — guys who have summited Everest or reached the North Pole. The clubhouse sits in an old mansion on the Upper East Side. We will have fires going, black tie is mandatory, and the guest list is shaping up to be a great cast of journalists, influencers, explorers

And of course you, I want those who have supported Outpost from the beginning to be there.

Kindly reply to this post with “RSVP {insert headcount}” and we will send you a ticket link. I’ve carved out an early bird price of $199 for all Outpost readers today only tomorrow we launch everywhere else at $225 and I am sure all 65 seats will fly.

For those who have attended dinners in the past, this is supper club on steroids — proper flatware, waiters, bartenders, photographers, 3+ courses with wine to pair, alongside an open bar of martinis, champagne, and specialty pours and cocktails from of course Blade & Bow.

Plus, everyone is going home with some Outpost merch.

Ate: Frenchette

This pork dish that Frenchette is serving right now is one of the better dishes I’ve had this year, if not in my life. Pork served three ways — sausage, lardon, and a few others I’m missing — with mustard and sauerkraut. It’s not typically on the menu and is worth a trip alone.

Have a great week everyone see ya on Feb 19th,

Ryan
