Week 45: Outpost Website is live

We are live, folks. What has been about four months of work is finally out in the world. Check out the Website - Here

Need: Outpost Overview

I won’t beat a dead horse — I said my piece earlier this week and, honestly, need a breather — but it feels important to give you a bit more color on what you can expect from here.

Outpost is built on three pillars:

Media

Social content, weekly columns, recipes, reviews, guides — the whole editorial universe.

Events

Predominantly in New York for now, expanding around the country soon. LA is likely next. London not far behind.

Curation

Products we use and love every day, delivered in a tasteful, no-nonsense way.

Starting this week, you’ll hear from us twice weekly:

  • Sundays: the news article — what’s worth knowing, reading, buying, and thinking about.

  • Wednesdays: a mid-week interview or spotlight on a brand, product, or person we think is genuinely cool. A little something to get you through the week.

That’s all for now — no need to bore you with more details. Let’s keep it moving.

Ate: Launch Dinner

To kick off Outpost, I hosted a dinner in midtown. The food was club food — good, steady, not the main event. Naturally being a celebration the libations didnt lack.

  • Martinis to start

  • A champagne toast

  • White Burgundy with the first course

  • More white wine (the result of a miscommunication)

  • French Bordeaux with the main

  • Two bottles of port with cigars to close it all out

I still haven’t fully recovered — but such is life.

Enjoy the week, folks.
